The Jersey City Housing Authority in partnership with the Jersey City Employment and Training Program and the City of Jersey City is recruiting residents for upcoming construction work at the Montgomery Gardens Senior Apartments and Glennview II Townhouses.
Applicants must attend a Job Fair on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Jersey City One Stop Career Center (438 Summit Avenue):
• 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Jersey City Housing Authority residents only)
• 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Jersey City residents)
Please bring your resume and two forms of identification (photo I.D., social security card, utility/PSE&G bill)
To save time, JCHA residents may pre-register and receive resume assistance at the One Stop Career Center prior to November 6th.
On Monday, September 15, 2014, the Jersey City Employment and Training Program’s “Martin’s Place” officially opened. Dignitaries from across the nation joined the Jersey City community in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting. Over 500 were in attendance to witness this historic moment. Martin’s Place is home to the JCETP administrative offices and re-entry program.
